The location on a quiet residential street, just a short walk from Ely's historic town center, was ideal for exploring the area. the room I stayed in was clean and well-equipped with modern amenities, including a TV, tea & coffee facilities, and free wifi. However, the layout of the hotel was a bit confusing, with some rooms having restricted headroom due to being situated on the second floor. I found the shared bathrooms to be adequate, although having two for the single rooms seemed a bit inconvenient. Despite some minor issues, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable overall. If you're looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Ely, Castle Lodge is a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers alike.
